IPTvision automatically notifies users, saves all open files to disk, gracefully closes applications safely shuts down the operating system, and then turns off the UPS output power to conserve the battery. When power returns, the system can be automatically rebooted-without human intervention.

And IPTvision supports workstation and server shutdown, both over a network or via a direct UPS serial connection.

IPTvision includes i-switch which allows for individually switching on and off a single outlet or a pair of outlets. i-startup gives you total control over power-up sequences for your equipment, and i-shutdown lets you shed the load gradually after a power loss and reserve backup power for your most critical components. You can also schedule automatic workstation and server shutdowns to maximize electrical energy cost savings.

IPTvision also allows you to manage startup and shutdown remotely via modem and notifies you of any power event (e.g., low battery or power loss) by pager or e-mail.

IPTvision maintains a continuous power events log as well as a voltage graph and voltage statistics for recording your power history.
