Videoaxs Hires CBS StoreRunner Executive Dallas, Texas July 10, 2000 - Ken Roberts, former Area Vice President for StoreRunner Inc., has been appointed Vice President for Advertising Sales by Videoaxs, a business-to-business web-based network provider for streaming news, entertainment and information content. Mr. Roberts’ primary focus will be to develop interactive streaming advertising programs for advertisers and agencies on a national basis, which can then be applied on a local level to assist the online sales efforts of Videoaxs’ clients. In addition to building, training and coordinating the Internet sales force, Mr. Roberts will also be involved in forging content partnerships. He said, “I am very impressed with the talent assembled at Videoaxs, and I’m excited about the opportunity to build a sales team that can deliver customized programs to create unique consumer experiences through our high bandwidth distribution network.” Prior to being recruited by Videoaxs, Mr. Roberts’ position as Area Vice President with CBS StoreRunner Inc. involved responsibility for e-commerce development and training for CBS media outlets. During the previous fifteen years, Mr. Roberts served as General Sales Manager for CBS Corporation, Citadel Communications and Shamrock Broadcasting, and General Manager for Genesis Broadcasting.
